Prop list

In onder to make sure we don't miss out any props before filming, we have decided to make a list of all the props we will need.
Car -
The first prop that we will use in our music video is a car. This is to show the good times the couple had when the singer looks back on that day and notices the things he lost. Using a car, will mean that we can show the audience that the couple are off on a day out to the beach and to show how they are in love. Another way we will show this is by using a red car. This will connote to the idea of love because the audience will begin to link the colour red to love. The colour red can also seen to be associated with the emotion, anger. This feeling also links to the music video and story behind it because the singer is looking back on good times and is angry with himself that he didn't tell her that he loved and appreciated her.

Instruments -
The next prop that we will use in our music video is a selection of instruments. When analysing indie-folk music videos, I could see that instruments were a vital convention in most music videos. Therefore, we will use a guitar and tambourine to conform to this convention.
Radio & CD -
Another prop we will be using is the car radio and CD. DUe to the length of the song, we have decided to add a short piece of narrative footage before the song starts. This is going to show the audience that the couple are off on a day out before it pans to the singer, to show he is reflecting on the day out that he took part in. To introduce the music we have decided to shoot a scene where a CD is placed into the radio. At this point the music will begin.
Pebbles-
The final prop we will use, is a few pebbles. This is because in our audience research, the beach was highly requested as a location for our music video. Therefore, we decided to use the beach as the location where the couple held good memories, which is why the singer wanted to return to that day and relive it. To show that we was at the beach, we decided to use pebbles as well as using them to show a bit of history behind the couple. The pebble throwing could be inferred as a memorable act the couple used to do when happy.
