Miley Cyrus - 'Wrecking Ball':
In this music video, there is a scene where Miley rocks through the air on a swinging wrecking ball.
This scene influenced society because everyone started to talk about the scene, with some copying it and making a parody of it.
As well as Greg James and others being influenced by this scene it also influenced Elizabeth Banks, director of 'Pitch Perfect 2'.
Although this scene doesn't fully copy this scene, we can see some resemblence of the scene when ' Fat Amy' performs in the movie.
Nelly Furtado:
Although, Miley Cyrus influenced others with this music video, we could look at it that she was influenced by others whilst making this video.

Her image before this video was a quite, innocent girl however during this video she doesn't have many clothes on and can be seen as a sexual icon.
As well as Miley, we can also see that this process was very similar to Nelly Furtado. Her first song released 'I'm Like A Bird' we see her as a quite, innocent indiviudal just like Miley. However, she then releases 'Promiscuous' ft. Timbaland. In this video she is quite full on and once again just like miley isn't wearing many clothes. Therefore, we could infer that Miley and Nelly were influenced by others.
