David Fincher, born August 28th 1962, is famous for directing and producing films, television series, and music videos. When directing and producing music videos, he has worked with some very famous artists, such as Michael Jackson, Madonna and Justin Timberlake.
Michael Jackson's 'Who is it?' was directed by the 54 year old and released in 1993. The video is a narrative video that is about Michael thinking his girlfriend has cheated on him.
From this I learnt that Fincher likes to produce videos with a some narrative and performance. This has helped me plan our music video because knowing what the famous directors do will help us and inspire us to direct our own film.
Fincher hadn't produced a music video for many years, until in 2013 when he released one with Justin Timberlake and Jay Z. 'Suit and tie' was released January 15th 2013 and was shot in Los Angles.
