Lighting planning

To help deliver a message to the audience, I have planned the lighting on the shoot.

When I did the lyric analysis, I noticed that it was encoded that the couple's family were
not happy about their relationship. Therefore, for the scenes where the couple are in the
car I wanted it to be quite dark lighting naturally. The ideal type of lighting I wanted was
by having it raining because the audience would then know  that the couple are in a
miserable environment, despite laughing and joking showing they're having fun. This
also created juxtaposition within the shot.

The other part of the planning was a complete contrast to this. In the shots at the second                                                               location, the beach, I wanted the sun to be shining so the picture would be bright. This                                                                     would show the audience that the couple are in a much happier place away from their                                                                   previous environment because people automatically see a bright image as a happy                                                                         image.
