Initial focus group

Before planning my digipak, I needed to know valuable information about them and what the audience thinks about them. Therefore, I conducted a focus group to ask certain questions to an audience to help me when I create my own digipak.
These are the results I gathered:
I also asked the focus group, ' What images would you like to see on a digipak?'. The majority answered with the singer, however there were also a selected few that thought there should be some images from the music video.

Overall, the focus group has helped me with some initial ideas for my digipak. I think that due to the majority of most answers, it is key for me to advertise my artist/ band whilst also keeping a level of consistency throughout my digipak. I also need to think about the placement of my band name and images because this is the first thing most of my focus group saw when I showed them a vast amount of digipak examples. Most people also knew the genre of the digipak by the appearance of it. This is something I am going to have to consider when also designing the digipak. The focus group also prefered seeing images instead of colours, so when planning my ideas I need to think about the use of images.
