Iconography in digipaks

Just like in music a music video, iconography can be found on the front of digipaks. Therefore, many objects and images are used to represent a genre. 

​

For example, on a country genre digipak an object used that will represent that genre, is something like a cowboy hat or the use of the desert. This is because the music produced is  thought to be produced in the country which is perceived as the desert. It is then viewed stereotypically viewed that cowboys are located here, therefore a cowboy hat is automatically

linked to the country.
