Health and safety evidence

Throughout the filming of my music video, there are a variety of things that could go wrong. It was down to us, to recognise these problems and then think of a solution to resolve it.

Weather -

Apart from a couple of scenes, all of our music video is shot outside. Therefore, a number of things could happen which cause cause damage to the equipment or damage to us. For example, if someone falls into the sea when we are filming at the beach, they become at risk to drowning or even possibly hypothermia. This means that when we are at the beach, we need to make sure we are in shallow waters and also have coats at hand to warm people up if necessary.

Another problem that could be caused by the weather is damage to the camera. If on the day of filming it is raining, the camera could become damaged by water. However, if it is windy on the day of filming then the likeness of the camera tipping over increases. The solutions would be to take the camera bag filming with us, so if the weather isn't suitable at any point we can put the camera back in the bag.

Filming -

In the music video, there are a few scenes involving the car. In these scenes the car is moving. This could put us in danger as well as other drivers if we are not focused. For example, the driver of the car in the music video will have to start and stop in the road for us to gain continuity editing through the video. However, if we don't check that nothing is coming before we start driving and filming we could be put at risk.  This means that we will check for other vehicles before starting to shoot the scene.
