Digipaks

A definition of a digipak is:

A type of packaging for CDs or DVDs, typically made from cardboard with an internal plastic holder for one or more discs.

They are commonly seen as a collectors item because they are something people can keep once they buy the CD/DVD. They are also used to represent the artist. For example using specific colours on the digipak, the customer can see what genre the artist is and what sort of single the artist has released.
